I mean, c'mon. Look at those two! Supes adorbs, right? They LOVE big machines. Now that we're finally at the point where we have all of our permits and can start construction, we have the opportunity to show them big machines - a lot of them. In a previous post, I walked you through Phase 1 of a remodeling project, where we figure out what CAN be done with your space. In this post, we will focus on Phase 2 of the process, which is where we figure out what WILL be done. It’s where the conceptual space plan gets real-world details.
In this phase we: In case you can’t tell, the dapper gentleman in the clip art is reviewing a contract to remodel his kitchen. He’s never remodeled before, but is excited about the potential. At the same time though, he’s nervous; he is making a large investment that will impact how he lives in his home, and potentially how and when he can sell it. A couple months back, we toured our nursery in the first ever Designed Happy house tour. Now that Pancake and I have decided to sell our house, there may not be much time left for additional tours (insert sad face emoji here). As such, I wanted to give you a tour of our modern take on a traditional farmhouse kitchen.
Ah, the chicken salad sandwich...the quintessential savory, crunchy, tangy, perfectly satisfying lunchtime fare. I used to eat these delectable delicatessen staples daily, but had to bid them adieu when we chose the veg life (PS...I adore alliteration).
