Designed Happy House Tour: A Tale of Two Nurseries

[ Editor’s note:  This is a story all about how, our lives got twisted and turned upside down.  So I’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, and I’ll tell you how we fixed up a house that was in disrepair. ]  

When Pancake and I bought our house in 2009, we set up one of the bedrooms as ours, one as a guest room, and one as an office.  5 years later, the guest room and office are gone…replaced with a toddler’s bedroom and nursery (although, we have finished the attic as a guest room, so our nimbler guests do have someplace to stay).  In this post, we’ll take a look at how one little room in our house went from a nondescript office, to a little girls nursery for Stinky Face, and finally to a boy’s nursery for Monkey.
