Pop on over for a peek inside - 1 of 3

We've been focused on the outside of the house here on the blog for a bit, so it's been a while since we last took a look inside.  I think it's time to change that.  The framing is done.  The windows and doors are in.  Plumbing, electric, HVAC all done.  Drywall is up.  We're doing a 3 part house tour series.  Today, let's take a look at the first floor.

The rest of this post will be picture heavy, so to keep you oriented, I put together this spiffy Image Location Plan - all you have to do is match the number on the plan to the number on the picture and you'll know where you are on the first floor.

Let's end the anticipation.  Welcome inside...

1 - Entering from the garage, you can see all the way through to the other side of the house

2 - Turn a bit to your right and you have an awesome view to the kitchen and HUGE patio doors

3 - It's going to be really easy to entertain while I'm chef-ing in the kitchen - OPEN CONCEPT CITY

So as you can see, we have a bunch of areas, and very few rooms - technically, there are only 4 rooms on the first floor - the garage, powder room, mudroom, and the large open area.
