Let's pick sides

The day has arrived - we can finally say goodbye to our greenhouse.  The siding is being installed, and as it is, this is looking more and more like our modern farmhouse.

We're going for clean, minimal, and maintenance free on the outside of the house.  All of the trim is PVC, and the siding is made of pre-finished fiber-cement, which means we won't have to paint it, it won't rot, and in 30 years it should look the same as it does now.

​The installation crew started on the garage elevation:

And quickly moved around the side:

There's obviously still some miscellaneous things to do outside, but a majority of the work left before we move in is on the inside.  Should be a fun couple of months.
