RealTIME Design
The "Normal" way
Doing it the "normal" was is boring, slow, and often frustrating.  From the beginning of time design professionals have expected you to feel confident about your decisions by looking at something like this:

You would look at it, maybe ask some questions, try your best to understand and maybe even provide some feedback.  Your design professional would go back to the drawing board, and in a couple of weeks you would review a slightly different version of the same drawing.

Around 2010, many firms started adopting 3D software, which helped this process.  Instead of the black and white flat image above, the software allowed you to review images like this:

That's definitely an upgrade over the flat 2D elevation.  It's still a static image though, and the process today is the same as it always was - get feedback, go back and revise, then present another static image.  Even with a photorealistic rendering, it's still a static image with a slow and laborious process.

The RealTIME Design difference
We saw the power of 3D software in the year 2000, and started developing the process that would become RealTIME Design from the first time the program opened.  There's a lot that happens behind the scenes to build a model in a way that makes the video above possible, but when we start from a place of "how can we make this as easy and seamless for our clients as possible," it's worth the time and energy it takes to build the model that way.  And while it does take more time upfront to create this experience, it saves all of us many weeks of time overall.  The really fun part is that you get to provide feedback and watch as your home changes in the real time.  If you've ever dreamed of being a designer or an architect but just didn't have the chance, now you do.  So to recap, RealTIME Design makes the process:
  • More fun
  • More engaging
  • Easier for you
  • Faster
If you haven't already, check out the video above to see the process in action.
